Finding a place to rent in Elgin can be a challenge as the city has become very popular and is growing.  We are finding that there are fewer properties to rent and fewer landlords willing to work with the HCV program.  THIS IS WHY it is very important as a Section 8 tenant that you go above and beyond to keep the rental property in excellent condition and that all family members are on their best behavior.  As we want the landlords and property managers to continue working with our program.

We ask our landlords to post available units on the www.Gosection8.com website.  You may begin your search for a rental unit here.  Unfortunately, we don't know about all properties that are available in Elgin, so you will need to do some searching for yourself, many applicants have run across properties for rent and brought new landlords to our program.
